I have been in a huge funk for going on two years now. I don’t really remember when it started but I do know why it started. I let my heart and head get carried away with itself and convinsed myself I had a chance with a guy who was way out of my league. And the funk just got worse last year when my well planned Disney Vacation was cancelled and I didn’t get to go to the Outer Banks even though it was an Outer Banks year. But this week I feel like the weight has been lifted off my shoulders and my funk is ending. I’ve been to Disney World already this year and in a few weeks I’ll be back in the Outer Banks and my heart has mended.
Do you remember these? I loved Planters Cheese Balls and was sad when you couldn’t get them anymore. I have tried many different kids of cheese balls since then and they just aren’t the same. I’m not sure what it was about the Planters brand but personally I have not been able to find anything that compares.
Congratulations to Jason from Kentucky for winning Food Network Star. I can’t wait to see what kinda of show he will have. I know it will be entertaining for sure. I might be able to convert my mom to a Food Network junkie after all.
I read some where yestereday that some think Port Orleans French Quarter is a nice Disney Resort for an adults only trip. I have wondered about POFQ but I’m kinda afraid to try it. I love Riverside so much that I hate not staying there but maybe the French Quarter would be worth a try. Has any of my Disney readers stayed at the French Quarter before? Any thoughts or ideas? If we are going to do this next year we are going to have to start planning soon.
Well I guess Sunday is the day we find out if Bobby and Giada think Jason from Kentucky has what it takes to be on the Food Network. I can’t wait to see who wins. I’m just so happy that Matthew is not one of the final three. I actually don’t mind all three of the finalists but Jason is hands down my favorite. And I’m not just saying that since he’s one from Kentucky and two my mom has actually met him. I say that because he is so funny and keeps me laughing. Team Jason all the way!
This weekend we have a birthday party for the oldest of the four kiddos who turned Sixteen last week. I can’t believe she is sixteen already. It seems like just yesterday she became a part of our family. I don’t remember how old she was when her mommy started dating my cousin but I think she was eight or nine. And now she is old enough to drive a car. In the blink of an eye (two years) she will be graduating high school and starting college. I wish I could stop them all from growing. Happy 16th Birthday Miss M!
